Within the Walls

Within the Walls was a 2021 conceptual proposal for the Main Street BID (Business Improvement District), an initiative launched by an independent body and backed by the Government of Gibraltar.



The BID's aim was to develop a brand and identity for Gibraltar's city centre. This would serve to enhance the area for locals, tourists and businesses alike.
The visuals for Within the Walls were designed to complement Gibraltar's vibrant, multicultural identity, influenced by the Mediterranean and beyond.

A bold, modernist logomark was created, depicting one of the arches that punctuate Gibraltar's historic city walls that date back to the 16th Century, enveloping the city center and old town.
